NVOCC Services

Ocean carriage arranged on vessels run by the shipping lines, with one accountable point of contact for your cargo.

What an NVOCC does

A Non-Vessel-Operating Common Carrier, or NVOCC, provides ocean transport to shippers without operating the ships themselves. It arranges space on vessels run by the shipping lines and takes responsibility for organising the shipment around that space.

For our customers, that means one accountable contact for sea carriage. We arrange the ocean leg, coordinate the documents and clearances on either side of it, and shape the arrangement to the cargo you need to move.

Your containers, highlighted, travelling in space arranged on a carrier-operated vessel.

What the service covers

One point of contact
A single team answerable for the shipment, instead of several parties to chase.

How an NVOCC shipment runs

Every shipment is planned individually. Send us the details and we will set out how yours would move.

  1. Cargo and route

You tell us what is moving, between which ports and by when.

  2. Space secured

We arrange space on a carrier service that fits the route and the schedule.

  3. Documents and clearance

Paperwork is prepared and export formalities are completed.

  4. Ocean transit

The cargo sails, and the shipment is followed through to arrival.

  5. Release

Import clearance is coordinated and the cargo is released at destination.

Tell us about your cargo.

Send the commodity, volume, ports and timing, and we will reply with how we would arrange the carriage.
